Lyric:
(THE) SEASONS MAY CHANGE ((BUT) THE MEMORY/IES (STILL) REMAIN)
Nov. 7/86 Karl Rigelhof
(As) the last days of autumn wither
Until all the leaves have fallen
The cold/cool sharp/crisp colours (still) linger
Etched upon (the landscapes of) (our) memory/ies
(As) the first snows of winter fall
(Like) frozen tears from the sky/ies (above)
Our hearts (will) thaw as we recall
Being tucked in under our blankets (with love)/(by the one\'s we love)
(And) a kiss goodnight upon our cheek(s)
Life blossoms (along(/)with) (in) the flowers of spring
(And) (all) the hardships of the/a barren winter are erased
Love is in the air and/as the birds rejoice/(joyously sing)
(And) (as) the blood of our ancestry/ors flows/runs (hot) in/through our veins
(As) we re(live)/enjoy our lust for life (once again)
(And) (with) the summer(\'s) (and its) shimmering heat
Underneath the sunshine we laugh and play
Picking (the) fruit from the tree of life (itself)
(Revelling in)/tasting its/the sweet nectar
Until the sun sets and we remember other days
(And) once again the leaves begin to turn
The(ir) last moment(s) (they know) a blaze of glory
The cycle surges to(wards) its completion
Only to be (re)born/rejuvenated/ignited (once) (again)
In our hearts and in our minds
(The) memories (that) we (all) share (together)
(And) we shall/will always remember
For that is the one thing that can never be taken away (from us)
